Traffic Dispatcher/Planner
The role will effectively support the day to day operations of the office through successful allocation of vehicles to provide best in class service delivery, while ensuring all Health and Safety standards are maintained
Overview and coordination
An eye keen for details, quality control with good coordination and overview skills

Multilingual with excellent collaboration and communication skills for understand and convey critical information in a timely and concise manner

Excellence in planning
Efficient routing with understanding of forecasting and demand planning principles
Computer literate
Comfortable using business software (CRM, Fleet Management, etc.) softwares and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically strong knowledge of Excel).

Ability to discern between urgent and important while prioritising competing demands

Expected qualifications and experience
- You are a trained dispatcher, transport manager or freight forwarder (supply chain or relevant field).
- Have experience with planning tools and tachnologies, preferably as dispatcher
- Have experience in the transport industry, preferably in tanker transport of dangerous goods
- Experience handling export documentation
- Fluent in English, Romanian and preferably conversational Danish and German.
As a dispatcher, you will be part of a team of dispatchers, freight forwarders and drivers, where you will be responsible:
- Daily planning and briefing of drivers – assisting with confirmation of work, plus dealing with any anomalies/issues.
- Ensuring a timely delivery of various loads for our European and Scandinavian customers.
- Providing our customers with an above expectation experience while ensuring an optimal workload for our vehicles and sub-contractors.
- Liaising with our customer's customers to resolve ongoing issues – including any hazards identified by drivers.
- Maintaining happy customers, motivated drivers and cared for vehicles
- Monitor/Ensure full compliance with applicable local and European regulation (e.g. customs formalities, working time, driving hours, invoicing etc.).
- Support the HR department in accurately calculating the working times and bonuses for drivers.
- Handling customer complaints and deviation reports.
- Call handling - liaising with customers, drivers and subcontractors.
- Engage in constructive dialogue and follow-up with the drivers, customer, undercarriage operators and other business partners.
- Order processing and confirmation + running and clearing daily reports.
- Administrative tasks and housekeeping.
